Iludi and Juli Buli have teamed up to create. The result comes in playful pieces, proving what is handy can also be edgy. The collection comprises Lapidu Lamp & Hat-stand and Joca Lamp & Hat-stand, which, besides the dual functionality, incorporate an eco-conscious solution. Straight from the studio of a luthier, repurposed wood scraps come alive in precise polishing, evoking beauty from the unlikely. The collection gets complete with Joquinha, an ingenious lamp that leaves it up to you to come up with ways to use it. 

LAPIDU LAMP & HAT-STAND

Set on the wall, this is a piece that bears a resemblance to a climbing panel. Lapidu Lamp & Hat-Stand takes the risk of defying the rules of what an object can be, by the playful combination of an ultra-contemporary lamp to polished wooden rings, which, besides decorative, function as hat-stands. Floaty, Lapidu is an easily installed sconce, and with a touch of light transforms something trivial into something special.

Inspired

The inspiration begins with a small point of light that opens and expands further and further. When you're inspired, time seems to move at a different pace or even disappear. Iludi seeks to awaken this feeling through the stories told by architecture and design projects, in which the pieces are part through the eyes of the most renowned professionals.
